Thank you to everyone who came out to the Saks Sweet 16 Fall Fashion event and thank you Saks and Alter Magazine for having me! I had such a fantastic time meeting everyone and viewing the fall fashion. If you weren't able to make it, (bummer) you missed out on a great night of shopping with major discounts, just released fall fashion, a fierce runway show with beautiful models (I have to try this hair and makeup by the lovely Doll Me Up Artistry), catered snacks, desserts, and champagne and of course great giveaway bags to some very lucky ladies! You were certainly missed and hopefully you're able to attend the next event!!
After checking out all the fall fashion there are a few items I highly recommend be added to your wardrobe, especially when the weather starts cooling off.
Outerwear: consider investing in an eye catching coat (think faux fur or an oversized trench), don't be afraid to experiment with various lengths and colors, but make sure you keep the rest of your outfit simple.
Hats: Whether its a wool cap or beanie not only will you look cute but also cover up those not so great hair days.
Prints: Leopard and Houndstooth are the perfect fall prints. Don't go overboard with the leopard, a pop here and there will suffice.
Color: Pantone chose Emerald as its top pick for 2013. I had to find the perfect dress to represent this beautiful color for the night. You can also incorporate this color by adding a structured bag or a pair of heels to your wardrobe.
What are you looking forward to the most in fall fashion?
